Stefan Röpke studierte in Berlin und Paris Medizin. Nach Stationen als Assistenzarzt und Arbeitsgruppenleiter in Berlin, Montpellier und Paris ist er seit 2006 Oberarzt und Bereichsleiter, Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie an der Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Dort habilitierte er sich 2011 und ist seit 2016 Professor ebendort.
